Zumba classes in Madrid

Zumba is a physical activity that combines aerobic exercises to the rhythm of different styles of Latin music (salsa, merengue, bachata, samba, tango, cumbia, reggaeton…) and it was invented in the late nineties by the Colombian Alberto Perez.

Zumba

Although his birth was somewhat random (he had forgotten the music for his class and improvised with the music he had in his car, mostly Latin music), he managed to create a type of physical training that helps in weight loss and is so entertaining as to encourage exercise and an active lifestyle among all kinds of people, even those who are out of shape.

For this reason, Zumba exercises are designed for everyone, without distinction of age or gender, and without the need for prior physical preparation to be able to keep up with the rhythm in any Zumba class.

If you’re looking to lose those extra pounds, shape your body and forget about stress in a fun way, El Lucero’s zumba classes can become your best ally. Our Zumba classes have a duration of 60 minutes, a whole hour in which fast rhythms are mixed with other slower ones, in which different series of exercises are executed that allow toning the muscles at the same time that we burn calories.

Not only will you improve your muscle tone, your flexibility, your coordination and your heart (it’s a fantastic cardiovascular exercise), you’ll also see your mood rise, you’ll lose the shame and you’ll interact with people you’ll probably end up dancing with outside the classroom.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never had contact with dancing or exercise, the El Lucero team will get you to take advantage of your Zumba classes from day one, turning each Zumba session into a real party.
